the journey and Universal Studios

finally, i got to write my story.
it's easier now cos i got pictures. it took me awhile to get all the pictures cos believe me, i have thousands of pics from this trip alone. my computer is definitely so loaded right now.
our trip started on the 19th of Dec and we had 4 ppl in this trip - me, izyan, afiqah and hafizah (from uni of michigan, i got to know her last yr in New York during Hari Raya Haji...so random).
then fizah left early cos she has some deals. nevertheless, be it 4 or 3...the trip was still a blast!!
we met fizah at detroit airport and we left for orlando together on Southwest Airline. The trip was supposed to be 2 hours if not of the stop that we made. duh..it took us 4 hrs to get there. bazir masa, but because the ticket was only 64dollars, we had to bear with it. so after makan n all, we head to our first hotel, Rodeway Hotel. cheap hotel, i think it was 45dollars per night. the room was a bit too small, though to fit 4 ppl.
So here I have tonnes of pictures to best tell the story. lol

In our flight to Orlando. Fizah is already sleeping. it was tiring, i must say. we didnt sleep the whole night cos we were busy packing.

Rodeway Inn, where we spent our first night. Nice huh? Sorry didnt have any picture of the room. i forgot to take pictures.

Rodeway Inn is located along International Drive - the best place to be!! something like bukit bintang laa in KL. u can get all the restaurants, hotels and shops here! there is even I-trolley that took you along I-drive for only 1 dollar.

Our second hotel - Hilton Garden Inn. I love this hotel to bits. If u are considering of going to Orlando, pls pls choose this hotel. it's perfect. very2 spacious as u can see here. i believe this room can fit 10 ppl, with 6 sleeping on the floor of course. It is just few minutes walk to Seaworld and it provides shuttle service to all 3 major theme parks in Orlando - Disneyworld, Seaworld and Universal Studios. good thing huh.


see....it's one spacious room! ade microwave, fridge, iron & ironing board. and the toiletries provided are from neutrogena. Cool... tak leh lawan Hilton London, gune crabtree & evelyn. hehehe. yeap, every morning, kitorang suke ambil free hot choc while waiting for the shuttle. but the shuttle service can be a bit of a pain, cos sumtimes they do not show up at the time they are supposed to. but it's ok... ade kenderaan pon dah cukup bersyukur....

Universal Studios, here we come!! this place has 3 parts to it: Universal Studio, Island of Adventure and Citywalk (for shopping n dining). we went to Island of Adventure on the first day

we bought this rain poncho for 7dollars. cos there are so many rides that involve water, so yea...we had no choice. if we knew earlier, we could have gotten the 1.99dollar poncho outside, haihhh

hey, t-rex is above us!! not that crazy. see, izzy is all wet from the ride we had before that! even the poncho cant keep u totally dry. lol

they make u wet actually!!! i was soaking wet after this ride. my tudung mmg basah giler. dah la duduk depan. in the pic, i was looking so terrified. izyan mmg tutup muka, fizah je yg ade happy face!! yea, we didnt buy that picture cos it's 20 dollars. hehehe

the sight of island of adventure. left is seuss's landing, the port of entry and the HULK roller coster. it was rated the scariest. i sat the first row! it was bloody scary. saje challenge myself. izyan n fiqa tak naik. it was only me n fizah. tell u what, we waited 90 minutes for this ride, and man, it was worth it!!
